- 8-10 fresh jalapeños, halved and seeded
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 8-10 strips of bacon
- BBQ sauce (such as hickory smoke), for brushing
- 8-10 toothpicks, soaked in water

Preheat the grill with hickory wood chunks until the coals burn to white ash.

In a bowl, mix the softened cream cheese and shredded cheddar thoroughly.
